The Texas Education Agency, in collaboration with Education Service Center, Region 2, invites all Title III, Part A-LEP subgrantees to the 2013 Title III Symposium to be held July 29-30, 2013 at the Austin Convention Center in downtown Austin, Texas.
In order to help increase the English language proficiency of English language learners (ELLs) in a way that results in high levels of academic performance, this statewide event will offer professional development opportunities related to the identification of instructional strategies designed to increase the academic achievement of English language learners (ELLs), critical issues in the education of ELLs, and the management of the district’s Title III educational program.
Workshop sessions will be provided for elementary and secondary educators and administrators.

This event is available to Title III-funded local education agencies (LEAs) only. TEA cannot allow the promotion of any vendors, products, or instructional strategies that require the purchase of a particular product or service.
